About Me

Hi! My name is Carson Kinder and I am a current first-year University Honors student studying International Business at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Currently, I am expected to graduate in May of 2028 and am seeking a certificate in Public Relations. I was born and raised in Germantown, OH, a small town near Dayton, OH, and chose to study International Business and Operations Management because of my strong passion for leadership I developed throughout high school and also my lifelong fascination for foreign places, cultures, and languages.

I enjoy nature, spending time with friends and family, traveling, fitness, listening to music, and learning new things. A few of my strengths include leadership, conceptual thinking, creativity, and my drive to positively impact those around me. As I take part in the University Honors Program, I hope not only to strengthen my existing skills, but also gain new ones through honors seminars and experiential learning opportunities that focus specifically on impact, innovation, and inclusion.

Subsequently, it is another goal of mine to foster meaningful personal growth as I become a Global Citizen Scholar. To foster this growth by broadening my horizons, I'm eager to explore interdisciplinary interests of mine like biological sciences, political science, foreign languages, and music through the UHP's many opportunities for interdisciplinary education.
